EMILY BUCK

Emily was classically trained under the Vaganova method in ballet technique, pointe, character, and pas de deux. After training for 12 years in Salt Lake City, she moved to Los Angeles, CA on a work study scholarship at the Edge Performing Arts. There she developed a love for jazz, contemporary, and musical theatre. While in LA, Emily performed professionally with the San Pedro City Ballet and traveled to Honolulu, HI to perform with the Honolulu Dance Theater. With 25 years of teaching experience, Emily has taught at various studios, hosted master classes, and choreograped for multiple high school dance teams. Emily is thrilled to be teaching at UDI, and hopes her love of the arts transfers to her beautiful students!
